The favors were "life savers", twizzlers tied in rope knots and swedish fish.

We had pizza which definitely did not go along with the theme but was a last minute addition due to lack of time! Kids loved it and thats the most important.

Boston's Room Updated

This room is not quite finished. Still need to finish trim around tops of windows and add a bookshelf and killer light fixture. Have my eye on this one from PBK.

Here are a few pics of the decor I used for last year's festivities... of course I will change it up for this year but I am still loving the "ornaments in jars" idea...

Front Door

I think that an entryway is vitally important, the front door especially because it is literally the face of your house. Mine has undergone several transformations, about every 18 months I change it up because it is so easy and fairly inexpensive. This last time I changed from a dark door to an all white with silver accents... what do you think?

A Men's Closet Birthday Party

My husband B the clothes horse

I love my husband dearly- not least because he has an obsession with clothes that rivals my own. From the moment I saw him, dressed head-to-toe in Banana Republic with perfectly shined dress shoes and flawlessly styled hair I knew.... we'd have a blast shopping together.

After nearly 6 years his 29th birthday loomed and I wanted to throw a special party, one tailored to B's tastes. The result: an intimate soiree in my back yard with drinks, family and fine food.
